Graceful Weddings & Events is a Halifax based boutique event planning company specializing in celebrations all over the maritimes filled with laughter, style & grace.
Aside from beautiful design and expert logistics management, the underlying philosophy guiding the planning process at Graceful is the importance of making every couple feel at ease throughout the planning progress & especially on your special day. From the moment a guest receives your invitation, to the day they arrive at your wedding, every element of their experience is purposefully planned to ensure your love story is being told in the most cohesive, beautiful way.

Hannah started her career in wedding and event planning back in 2014 when she began working with Halifax wedding planners - Elegant Productions. After working with them for over five years it was time for her to start a new adventure in her life; planning beautiful weddings under her own name ; and in which blossomed

With Hannah’s thoughtful & passionate spirit she has planed over 40 celebrations that uniquely reflect the hearts of each couple she works with.Hannah's kind demeanour makes her a fast friend. She creates lasting connections with her brides that makes it feel as if you're planning your wedding with your bestie at your side.
Organization and time management has always been a talent of Hannahs, being most at ease when creating her to-do lists. She loves meeting new people and hearing their stories. The relationships made with new brides and grooms is her favourite things about planning weddings, along with being able to express her passion for creativity.
If you know Hannah, you will also know she has another strong passion along side weddings. She loves fitness & health; Creating yummy healthy meals, lifting at the gym and you will always find her in leggings outside of work.
Liz McDonald
DAY OF COORDINATOR
Liz has a passion for orchestrating seamless events and as your dedicated Day of Coordinator her aim is to make your day stress-free and unforgettable. With a degree in engineering and four years of hands-on wedding experience, Liz is an expert problem-solver and cool-under-pressure demeanor. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Liz recently moved back to Halifax after living in Toronto and working for the Pop-Up Chapel Co. where she had the pleasure of being a part of over 150 couple's wedding celebrations. Currently Liz works as a Corporate Event Specialist at a tech company, planning events for groups from 25 to 2500 people all across the globe.
Liz's favorite part of any wedding day is the moment after the ceremony when the couple walks back down the aisle hand-in-hand and are filled with joy, ready to celebrate with their friends and family. Outside of work, you will most likely find Liz curled up on the couch with a good book and her two small dogs. As your Day of Coordinator, Liz will go above and beyond to make sure every moment of your special day is as magical as you've envisioned.
