Merry Christmas Beautifuls! One of my favourite things about the holiday season is hosting friends and family and all of the festive recipes and cocktails that go along with that. As this year looks a little different, Zach & I are still staying in the Festive mood and have created the cutest Christmas cocktails for a night in with Christmas movies & puppy cuddles.
If you’re an entertainer like me (or if you just like to curl up at night with a festive drink!), I have two delicious holiday cocktails to add to your roster with a local Twist. As this year is all about supporting local, I have chosen spirits that are created close to home, using Lightfoot & Wolfville's House White Wine Flora for one drink and ColdSteams Candy Cane Liqueur for the other. White Cranberry Winter Sangria
Ingredients
Sugar
Ice
Cranberries
Chopped red apple
Rosemary
White Wine
Ginger ale
White Cranberry juice
Directions
Slice a lemon and place it around the rim of the glass, then dip in sugar - This will give that iced rime look & amazing taste. Add your Ice, Cranberries, Chopped Apple & Rosemary to your glass. Fill 1/2 the glass with your white time, and the remaining with your ginger-ale & White cranberry juice. For aesthetic purposes, I placed three cranberries on a toothpick, dipped them in sugar and placed it on the top of the glass!!
